Bb king guitar amp

So, you would love to have an amplifier that will make you sound like B. The built-in compressor is what sets this amp apart. The Lab Series is made by Nolin who is the parent company of Gibson and Moog. The Fender Twin, ahhhhhhhhh, my personal favorite amp that I own, my main stage amp. This is not an amp for someone on a budget, but it would be well worth the money. Maybe I over think it, maybe we all do some, who knows. Let’s start off with the Lab Series L5, since it is B. You’ll get 1 clean channel and another channel that features a multifilter and reverb. King get the great sound out of a cheap solid state amp. Don’t fret (pun intended, for sure), you have other options!!!! King did not use a certain amp because of a certain tone he was looking for, he liked a super clean sound, that’s it! The first channel is clean, the second channel is a vibrato channel with reverb and a vibrato speed. There are a million different amps out there and a million different variations of each one of them. Sometimes he uses a Fender Twin if he needs to for some reason, but he always goes back to the Lab Series. As a guitar player, that doesn’t seem natural to me, it seems as if I am always looking for that sweeter tone and how to make it just a little better. I want to do a comparison of what each has to offer and give you some different options if you are on a budget. This is a no frills, 100 watts, solid state amplifier with 2 12 inch speakers. Now for the bad news, this amp is no longer in production, so buying a new one is out of the question. King said in an interview once that he’s been using the Lab Series L5 amp since it came out. King also, does not use anything between his guitar and the amplifier except a cord. He just likes to plug into the Lab Series amp and play. Now, it does have a gain channel, it is not great, but it does not matter because if you are looking for the B. King sound, then you are not wanting a lot of overdrive anyhow, right? King admits that he knows nothing about sound, clean dirty, etc. The Fender Twin Reverb is a solid, tried and true workhorse. One option that I would recommend if you are on a budget would be a Fender Champion 100. The main reason why this amplifier is a great option for the B. This is a 100-watt solid-state modeling amp, but it gives you all the classic Fender tones as well as some others. It cleans up very well, but is very versatile with a plethora of effects, if needed. The first channel is the classic Fender Twin, the second channel has all the modeling that one would need. The 2-button footswitch has 2 functions, to switch between channels and to turn effects on or off. The look is that of a classic Fender Twin, not some tweaked out digital monster. King was not a tone chaser and his tone was not in the amp itself, but it was in his hands and the way he played. These are the best amps for any budget that I can recommend. The Fender Champion, because of the price and the tone. These recommendations are due to the clean nature of the sound, because that’s what “The King of Blues” wanted. The first 2 I recommend because they are amplifiers that B. So, you would love to have an amplifier that will make you sound like B. The built-in compressor is what sets this amp apart.
